The Manning camp will not want to send Archie where he must be the savior of the show.

Therefore, if Texas starts rolling before Manning is ready to sign and enter any college of his choice, then if he does land on forty acres, the pressure on his shoulders will be much reduced.

The status of this plan will be critical to Manning in 2022. Texas needs to introduce better products in this area so that he can actually choose Longhorns.

After receiving Ewers' promise over the weekend, the third and final factor that may affect Manning's connection with Texas is the supporting role Sark can build, thanks to this newly discovered momentum in the hiring process. Texas needs to establish a wide receiver room and a stronger offensive line in the 2022 and 2023 courses.

Obviously, getting promises from the transfer portal means what Longhorns means. Most Longhorns fans probably know what Manning's promise can bring to the 2023 recruitment program.
