Quavo broke the silence in a recently unearthed video depicting a physical conflict between the Migos rapper and his predecessor Saweetie.
Earlier this week, TMZ released a clip of the quarrel between Saweetie and Quavo in the elevator, which attracted the attention of law enforcement agencies.
This video records a quarrel, reportedly in the North Hollywood apartment building rented by Saweetie in 2020.

Quavo said that things are not as bad as they seem, and they are all in the past tense.
"About a year ago, we encountered an unfortunate situation from which we learned a lesson and moved on," he explained in a statement to Billboard. "I did not physically abuse Saweetie, and I am truly grateful for the overall sharing we have done."
Two days after the video was circulated on the Internet, Saweetie issued her own statement, calling the quarrel "regrettable."
According to TMZ, it is said that the Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the video. According to reports, detectives hope to meet with both parties to discuss the background of the incident.
Saweetie and Quavo are no longer a project. Saweetie first announced that she was single on Twitter on March 19 and wrote that she “suffered too much betrayal and harm behind the scenes”.
Quavo responded on Twitter that day, expressing his dissatisfaction with the dirty clothes exposed from their relationship for the past two years.
